We at Conquest Farms are passionate about education, safety, horsemanship, and love of horses. We foster an environment for learning that is friendly and fun, where all are welcome. We are looking for an assistant riding instructor who shares our passions and wants to help our program continue to grow. The requirements for the position are available below. While this is not strictly a riding position, there will be some riding involved such as schooling lesson horses as needed, with opportunities for more riding to the right individual.

ISO assistant riding instructor for an established and full horseback riding program.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Must have previous experience as a horseback riding instructor.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be very reliable.
- Good time management skills are important for this position.
- Ideally looking for someone who is/has competed at the 1.0M level or higher, and has experience in hunters, jumpers, and/or equitation. We show monthly and have students moving up. Also willing to discuss options with someone interested in focusing on beginner level students.
- Must be able to accompany students to horse shows and keep the day organized. You do not have to have a truck and trailer to apply, we currently hire haulers.
- Can teach basic beginner, intermediate, and advanced students, including being physically able to walk beside young/beginner/nervous students, lunge, move and reset jumps as needed, and perform all grooming tasks including picking feet when required.
- Working summer camps.
- No barn chores are included in this position. Your focus will be on instruction.
